Richard Marr

Richard Marr

Richard joined Narec in 2006 from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where he worked for the previous 10 years.  He began his career within the audit department at PwC and then in 1998 joined the Corporate Finance practice, becoming a key member of the team where his latest position was Corporate Finance Assistant Director.  Richard brings a broad range of commercial experience to Narec having advised clients on a variety of corporate transactions, strategic reviews and re-structuring options.

At Narec Richard provides the business with strategic financial and business advice and takes a lead in commercial negotiations including the development of strategic investments such as joint ventures and new business opportunities.  Richard has responsibility for a number of the functions in the business including finance, ICT, human resources, corporate governance, procurement, risk management and contingency planning and has line management responsibility for the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality function.

Richard has a BA Combined Honours (IIi) in English and Economics from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and is ACA qualified.
