Case Study: Applied Superconductors
Applied Superconductors Limited (ASL) was set up in 1995 under the UK DTI's 'Enhanced Engineering Materials initiative.'
NaREC has assisted this company with product prototype development and helped the company to move through the stages of securing funding. NaREC has loaned ASL a project manager from within its own team of electrical engineering consultants, with costs suspended until project funding is established.
ASL were provided with office space within NaREC's site for up to 6 people, and a basic business address from which they could begin operating.
ASL are now in the final stages of securing funding, and will then be moving into premises.
