Electrical Test Technician (Job Ref ETT0708)
NaREC is the New and Renewable Energy Centre, based at Blyth, Northumberland. We are expanding the delivery capability within our Clothier High Voltage Laboratory at Hebburn, (the largest independent, high voltage test and certification facility in the UK), to meet increasing customer demands.
The Candidate will:
- Be familiar with high voltage test methods and associated measuring equipment
- Perform a range of electrical tests on commercial HV products
- Accurately record test data and prepare customer reports
- Be qualified to HNC/Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
- Be customer focussed
- Preferably have worked within a recognised QA system (e.g. ISO 9001/ISO 17025)
