Following a competitive tendering process, Parsons Brinckerhoff has been awarded the contract to deliver the second set of electrical services for the offshore demonstration site.
These electrical services include evaluating the export cabling options including the cost of these options, analysing the impact of different cabling options on the offshore platform, evaluating the requirements for reactive compensation and developing a detailed cost model for each option investigated.
Parsons Brinckerhoff has experience of providing electrical engineering and design for electrical collection systems, transmission to shore and grid connection.
Parsons Brinckerhoff’s experience also includes providing technical advice, studies and assessments for global interconnector projects.
