Fisheries liaison for Blyth offshore demonstrator

Provision of Fisheries Liaison Service

Following a competitive tendering process  Danbrit Ship Management Limited (DSML) have been awarded the fisheries liaison contract to  the services of a company with an extensive track record in the delivery of the following: 

  • general site and cable route fishing activity assessment
  • Fishing Liaison Services including records maintenance and management of Fishing Liaison Representatives (FLRs)
  • Fisheries liaison  vessel provision including sourcing, and chartering of vessels and commissioning  vessel audits

Danbrit have provided Fishing Liaison services for a number of East of England offshore wind farm schemes including  Triton Knoll, Lynn and Inner Dowsing, Race Bank and Docking Shoal, and  Teesside and are currently engaged in providing liaison services to the construction of the Greater Gabbard project. 

Simon Prince one of DSM’s  Fishing Liaison Officers  said ‘we are delighted to be working with narec in this pioneering demonstrator project’.
