High Voltage Laboratory

Narec’s Clothier Laboratories have been serving the transmission and distribution industry worldwide for almost forty years and form the UK’s only commercial ultra high voltage testing facility.  This is one of only a few facilities worldwide with the ability to test the performance of electrical equipment under extreme conditions. 

Three electrical test areas are available within Clothier, which allow us to cater to a wide range of testing and development needs. In addition, the laboratories also offer a range of coupled services to support the needs of developers of electrical power system equipment.
