Lab2line - From the Laboratory to the Production Line

Feb 2007 to Feb 2010

• Narec coordinated EC Framework 6 program 3 year demonstration project
• Project partners IMEC, ISFH, ENEA, Soltech, Narec and ANU

 Project Objectives

• Fully test and specify process sequences which can be scaled to volume manufacturing levels
• Integrate the Narec high efficiency LGBC process with the high volume screen printing technologies
• Produce a new hybrid high efficiency low cost technology

Narec achievements to date (as of Nov 2009)

• Development and demonstration of several hybrid solar cell processes
• 17.9% demonstrated on one sun cells
• Cells produced using hybrid techniques demonstrated at medium (batches of circa 100 cells) production scale
• Online virtual FAB developed to track demonstration and research and development of Lab2Line cells
