Narec works with network owners and operators, equipment manufacturers and project developers. Our focus: satisfying demand for grid expansion through developing on and offshore electrical networks and associated power system reliability; integrating distributed generation with existing systems; and understanding life extension opportunities for electrical networks.
Specialisms include electrical network planning, design, evaluation
and characterisation of insulation (and other) materials, electrical
test and calibration services.
Our technical know-how and understanding of both traditional
and renewables power generation equips us to undertake
economic feasibility and market studies. These studies inform the
decision process for the installation of new technologies and their
integration into the network.
