Narec undertook geophysical survey work in two phases during 2010 and 2011.
The main objectives of the geophysical survey were to determine bathymetry, seabed features, sediment types & sediment thicknesses across each of proposed arrays, the monitoring platform and preliminary cable route to shore.
The results of the survey will be used to inform the planning of further geotechnical investigations.
