Indicative Energy Yield Assessment

This interim energy yield report details the estimated average annual energy production (AEP) for the proposed Narec offshore wind demonstrator site near Blyth, Northumberland. The indicative annual energy yield estimations have been assessed based on site-specific meso-scale climate model data and current
industry best practice.

The results of an initial wind resource assessment for the Narec site are detailed in the Narec initial wind resource assessment report (WRA)(Narec offshore wind demonstrator site initial wind resource assessment, Natural Power, November 2010) and are summarised in section 3 of this report.

The Indicative Energy Yield Assessment is available here to download.

An updated version of this document, incorporating the previous 3 months of LiDAR data, is now available to download.
